Electric car was reality in the past twice: at the beginning of car age and just few years ago in California. In the movie “Who killed the electric car?” the sad story of EV (Electric Vehicles) is described. After a short period of interest by car industry, after money spent in researches and building infrasctrucures they were retired from the streets and disappeared. So people can’t even remember their short existence. Why? Technological problems? No, just economical ones since it’s not a profitable thing to reduce the use of oil and make people become aware that alternative energy resources are already a reality.
Mentions to electric cars of the past can be found only thanks to specific researches on the web and their memory is fading away… meanwhile new advertising appeared of a new electric car, obviusly presented as the first real electric vehicle.
