What to see:
Taliesin West, architect Frank Lloyd Wright's winter home and school
(Wiki, Homepage). I went there having read about it in the novel
"The Rise of Endymion" by Dan Simmons.
Montezuma Castle (National Monument, Wiki), cliff dwellings built by
Sinagua people around 1400 AD. In the nearness there is the Montezuma Well.
Red Rocks of Sedona (Wiki, Gov.Site), spectacular red sandstone rocks
to climb and to stare at the sunset.
Facilities: dinner at Olde Sedona (don't forget to taste their breaded
cactus and the local Oak Creek Brewing Co. beer), slept at Days Inn Sedona.
